New Orleans Aquarium

After being cooped up in the house all week with the girls and their coughs, I was really feeling the need to get out and do something fun as a family this weekend. I started looking around online to see what we could do that'd be fun and as inexpensive as possible. We have been wanting to take the girls to the Aquarium in New Orleans for the longest time, and I was so very excited to find out that they are doing "Family Fridays" until January 28th. Admission is regularly $20 per adult and $13 for children 2-12, but on Fridays a family of 4 can get in for just $20! I texted Jason at work and of course he was up for a trip to New Orleans. We left as soon as he got home and headed straight for the Aquarium. The girls LOVED it! They got to see all fun sea creatures, play on the playground, and Layla even got to pet the sting rays! After the Aquarium, we found our favorite little restaurant right by the French Market. We had yummy shrimp po-boys, sweet potato fries, and hush puppies, and then we walked over to Cafe Du Monde for beignets- since a trip to New Orleans isn't complete without them. I took a million pictures, but I'll spare you and only share the good ones.
