While following a friends' blog, I came across www.passionatehomemaking.com. WOW!! I have been completely blown away. My entire way of thinking about being a "stay at home mom" has changed. I have always believed the 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God" and have felt as though I've applied it to my life. However, I've been convicted that my bad attitude about that mountain of laundry that's taking over my bedroom or the stack of dirty dishes that I'm wishing would just disappear is NOT bringing glory to the LORD. I have the amazing opportunity to nurture, teach, and care for my children, as well as create a haven for my family and our friends. I am no longer taking my "job" lightly. I strongly suggest that every wife and/or mother check out her website and read a few of her articles. It will revolutionize the way you are thinking about the seemingly mundane tasks around your house!
